Orioles fans will be able to meet with players at stops throughout Maryland and relive the team’s 2023 season at a movie screening during the team’s “Birdland Caravan” tour later this month.
The tour running from Jan. 25 to 27 is the third iteration of the caravan, which was first conceived as a replacement for FanFest in 2020. The tour wasn’t held in 2021 or 2022 because of the coronavirus pandemic and the Major League Baseball lockout, respectively.
The caravan kicks off at 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 25 with a show at Banditos Tacos & Tequila in Columbia, where manager Brandon Hyde, first baseman Ryan Mountcastle and other to-be-announced players and coaches will be joined by 98 Rock’s Justin, Scott & Spiegel. Later in the day, the Oriole Bird and Mr. Splash will be holding a meet-and-greet at Weis Markets in Westminster, and at 7 p.m., the Charles Theatre will screen a documentary titled “101: The Story of the 2023 Baltimore Orioles” showcasing the team’s best season in years.
Tickets will be required for several of the photo opportunities and happy hours with the team later in the week. More information can be found here.
