It has to be Angel Reese. She’s is the only true “Baltimorean,” per se, on the list. She went from S.I. swimsuit model to lifting the WNBA to new heights. She was a media favorite and along with Caitlin Clark, she helped propel the WNBA and women’s basketball to new levels that’s never been seen. 2024 had to be the year of the “Baltimore Barbie.” No other true Baltimorean had a better year in 2024. — Kenneth Anderson
