Girls basketball
North County 22, Arundel 18: The host Knights had a one-point lead in the first half and held on to beat the Wildcats. North County has won two of its past three games.
South River 63, Glen Burnie 21: The host Seahawks beat the Gophers, led by Karlee Hawkins (16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals), Cami Burke (12 points), Raegan Ogle (11 points) and Ryleigh Adams (10 points). Glen Burnie was led by Brynn Jones with six points.
Chesapeake-AA 53, Severn Run 25: The host Cougars (14-4) beat the Wolves, led by Kiery Matkins (15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals), Ella Cieri (13 points, 8 steals) and Kendall Kotofski (7 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals). Severn Run was led by Janeue Giles-Watson (15 points) and Jordyn Acree (9 points).
Severna Park 34, Crofton 20: The Falcons (9-7) were led by Charley Coward, who netted 19 points. Abby Cover contributed six points for Severna Park.
Broadneck 60, Old Mill 31: The host Bruins went on an 18-8 run in the second quarter to pull ahead of the Patriots. Broadneck was led by Macie McNece (19 points, 6 assists), London Best (14 points, 5 steals), Summer Stroop (11 points) and Makayla Kropfelder (10 points, 10 rebounds).
South Carroll 43, Winters Mill 29: The visiting Cavaliers used tough defense to beat the Falcons. South Carroll was led by Jenna Todd with 10 points. Leah Miler finished with points and 12 rebounds.
C. Milton Wright 44, Bohemia Manor 39: Brennan DeSantis scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs and Makenzie Pavlitsa chipped in seven.
Aberdeen 37, Harford Tech 17: The visiting Eagles extended their one-point halftime lead and surged past the Cobras. Aberdeen was led by Nyjah Harris (12 points, 3 rebounds, 6 steals), Kennae White (11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), Zoe Smith (7 points, 3 rebounds) and Marissa Heil-Coleman (7points, 3 rebounds). Harford Tech’s Faith Orsini had six points and Brenna Olmstead had five points.
Edgewood 41, North Harford 29: Jael Erickson scored a game-high 21 points to lead the host Rams over the Hawks. Other top performers for Edgewood included: Lilly Smelzter (8 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks) and Samiah Head (8 points, 3 rebounds).
Havre de Grace 58, Bel Air 41: SaBree Knox scored a game-high 22 points to lead the visiting Warriors over the Bobcats. Carson Price had 18 points for Bel Air.
Patterson Mill 42, Fallston 39: The host Huskies beat the Cougars. Fallston was led by Natalie Wirth (8 points, 15 rebounds) and Jadin Woods (8 points).
Boys basketball
South River 65, Glen Burnie 52: Jamie Finn scored 30 points and Jonah Hall had 23 points to lead the visiting Seahawks over the Gophers. Jaden McDuffie had eight points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for South River.
Meade 60, Southern 46: Keon Scott led three Mustangs in double figures with 15 points. Ashton Thurman backed him with 13 points and Arouna Sumatara chipped in 11. Bryson Mims led Southern with 13 points.
Old Mill 76, Broadneck 62: Brian Poore dropped 29 points for the Patriots. The Bruins were led in the loss by freshman Liam Sabo, who had 18 points and 10 rebounds, as well as Ashton Sellmab and Drew Cahall, who each added 11.
Severna Park 42, Crofton 41: The host Falcons beat the Cardinals. Crofton was led by Miles Denton (17 points) and Timmy Brown (9 points).
Liberty 68, Pikesville 53: Tristan West scored a game-high 27 points as the Lions scored the nonconference win. Ethan Hart backed him with 16 points. Jonah Matz led the Panthers with 23 points.
Fallston 65, Perryville 36: The visiting Cougars opened with a 24-4 run and beat the Panthers. Fallston was led by Oliver Schamburg (14 points), Oliver Rueckert (10 points) and Aiden Robinson (8 points, 13 rebounds).
North Harford 75, Rising Sun 54: The visiting Hawks (9-8) led 50-25 in the first half and beat the Tigers. North Harford was led by Jason Brady (23 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists), Demetrious Densmore (18 points, 7 steals) and Mason Harvey (17 points, 10 rebounds).
Patterson Mill 65, C. Milton Wright 45: Dylan Sander scored a game-high 17 points, but the host Mustangs fell to the Huskies. Patterson Mill had three players in double figures: James Kropp (14 points), Kai Gibson (14 points) and Alex Kropp (10 points).
