Girls basketball
South River 68, Broadneck 33: Ryleigh Adams’ double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds carried the Seahawks over the Bruins. She also collected five steals. Reagan Ogle was right behind her with 12 points, Skylar Woodyard added 10, and Karlee Hawkins and Kiera West each chipped in nine.
Glen Burnie 48, Arundel 33: The visiting Gophers took a 14-7 lead in the first quarter and beat the Wildcats.
Severna Park 25, Chesapeake 24: The Falcons overcame a halftime deficit thanks to a 10-point effort from Abby Cover and seven points and nine rebounds from Maria Bragg.
Severn 48, Mount de Sales 45: Amyah Heyliger scored 13 points to lead the host Admirals (15-6, 6-3 IAAM B Conference) past the Sailors (20-6, 8-1). Brynn Houghton scored nine points and Katie Mentasana had eight points for Severn.
Westminster 57, Century 39: Maddy Gassman poured in 22 points to lead the Owls over the Knights. Brinley Boag backed her with 17 points and Emma Jones chipped in eight.
Manchester Valley 47, Francis Scott Key 41: The host Mavericks (11-6, 7-4 Carroll County) beat the Eagles. Manchester Valley was led by Emma Penczek (17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assists), Taylor Fique (10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals), Lilah Kresslein (7 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal) and Emma Shaffer (6 points, 4 rebounds).
South Carroll 48, Liberty 39: The visiting Cavaliers won behind 17 points from Charlotte Harrington. Kendall Curtin added 11 points and Leah Miller had 8 points and 11 rebounds.
Edgewood 53, Rising Sun 29: The visiting Rams extended their five-point halftime lead over the Tigers by scoring 24 points in the third quarter. Edgewood offensive leaders included: Sam Donovan (17 points, 4 assists) and Jael Erickson (18 points, 3 assists, 2 steals). Defensively, Samiyah Head had three steals and Lilly Smeltzer collected three steals for the Rams.
North Harford 65, Patterson Mill 61, OT: The host Hawks beat the Huskies in overtime. North Harford was led by Amelia Hartlaub (20 points), Emily Signor (12 points) and Payton Dinbokowitz (12 points).
Fallston 54, Bel Air 20: Sarah Gnagey (13 points, 15 rebounds) and Natalie Wirth (10 points, 12 rebounds) led the host Cougars over the Bobcats. Maura Lawall had nine points for Fallston. Carson Price had eight points for Bel Air.

Hereford 61, Lansdowne 15: The host Bulls (13-3, 12-1 Baltimore County) beat the Vikings. Hereford was led by Megan Hess with 18 points and Shea Kanning with 10 points.
Pikesville 63, New Town 34: Maya Chase had 17 points, 15 rebounds and seven steals to lead the host Panthers (16-1) over the Titans. Other standouts for Pikesville included: Makayla Brooks (15 points, 4 steals), Mariah Jones-Bey (10 points, 9 steals, 6 assists) and Ka’nai Pyatt (8 points, 8 rebounds, 6 steals, 5 assists).
Wilde Lake 53, Long Reach 48: The Wildecats (7-7, 3-4 Sierra Division) won their third straight game and swept the season series with the Lightning. Maggie Shidle and Nadja Stepanovic each led the charge with 13 points, while Liza Addie added 11. For Long Reach (5-10, 1-6 Sierra), Madison Dicks finished with a game-high 27 points, while Sydney Nance contributed 12.
Centennial 51, Atholton 47, OT: The Eagles (7-9, 4-3 Sierra Division) outlasted the Raiders and swept the season series. Tatiana Machiz scored a season-high 26 points, 18 of which came in the second half and overtime. Abby Porter chipped in 14. For Atholton (6-9, 1-6 Sierra), Julianna Blair had 16 points, while Gisaiah Griffin contributed 12.
Oakland Mills 54, Hammond 43: The Scorpions (13-3, 8-0 Summit Division) won their 12th straight county game and swept the season series. Destiny Macharia spearheaded the attack with 23 points, while Chloe Grenway scored 12. For Hammond (7-8, 2-5 Summit), Sara Yarnell finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and four assist, while Alexis Wright had 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Poly 60, City 16: The host Engineers beat the Knights on Thursday. Poly was led by Brianna Pope (14 points, 7 rebounds) and Alexis Smothers (12 points). Engineers with four steals apiece included: London Elliott, Sydney Jones and Darren Moore.
St. Vincent Pallotti 50, Mercy 47: The host Panthers (15-10, 10-6 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference) extended their winning streak to three games. Milan Brown finished with 33 points for the Magic (5-18, 2-14). Brown has 2,000 career points and over 1,000 career rebounds.

Hereford 41, Lansdowne 23: Sam Nicholson and Tanner Diehl each scored 10 points to lead the visiting Bulls (9-9) over the Vikings. Hereford has won six of its past seven games.
Randallstown 63, Towson 58: The host Generals fell to the Rams. Towson was led by Jeremiah Harris (13 points), Seven Wheeler (12 points) and Devaughn West (12 points).
South River 59, Broadneck 46: The host Seahawks beat the Bruins. South River was led by Jamie Finn (20 points), Jonah Hall (17 points) and Jaden McDuffie (11 points).
Meade 84, Annapolis 67: The host Mustangs (15-3, 9-0 Anne Arundel) scored 20 or more points in three out of four quarters and beat the Panthers. The victory was the 13th straight. Meade’s backcourt scored 55 of 84 points. Keon Scott scored a career-high 33 points and had five assists and six rebounds and Ashton Turman had 22 points, four assists and two steals for the Mustangs.
Annapolis Area Christian 70, Indian Creek 43: Visiting AACS had four scorers in double figures: Eli Croskey (16 points), Nate Jackson (13 points), Julian Kelly (12 points) and Kendrick Tche (12 points).
Glen Burnie 71, Arundel 60: Braeden Buchanan used a double-double (28 points and 15 rebounds) to guide the Gophers (9-7) to a road win. Chris Maddox drained 23 points while CJ Jones netted his own double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. For Arundel, Javeon Reed recorded 26 points.
Howard 65, River Hill 52: The Lions (12-4, 6-1 Sierra Division) maintained first place in the division and swept the season series. Howard had five double-digit scorers led by 12 points from Alex Reeb and Jamie Del Rosso-Freeman. Griff Garner (11), Joe Hill (10) and Josh Ademiju (10) also finished in double figures. For River Hill (5-11, 1-7 Sierra Division), Justin Bishop scored 21 and Jaden Moore added 12.
Atholton 50, Centennial 41: The Raiders (10-5, 4-3 Sierra Division) won their fifth straight game and avenged an earlier season loss to the Eagles. Isaiah Johnson led the winning effort with 16 points as Atholton came back after trailing by two at halftime. For Centennial (11-5, 4-4 Sierra), Josh Frazier scored 17 points.
Liberty 50, South Carroll 49: The Lions edged out the Cavaliers led by Jayden Zumbrun with 21 points, including a game-winning 3-pointer with six seconds left. Brady Bergen chipped in 16 points for the Lions. Micah Puckett led South Carroll with 20 points.
Winters Mill 67, Havre de Grace 60: The visiting Warriors fell to the Falcons. Havre de Grace was led by Josiah Lawrence with 33 points. The win snapped a three-game losing streak.
Patterson Mill 73, Perryville 58: Colin Luddy scored a game-high 18 points to lead the visiting Huskies over the Panthers. Other top scorers for Patterson Mill included: Kai Gibson (12 points), James Hammond (12 points) and James Kropp (10 points).
Bel Air 48, Fallston 41: The host Bobcats went on a 15-8 run in the fourth quarter to secure the come-from-behind win over the Cougars. Fallston was led by Mikey Griffin Jr. with 17 points and Aiden Robinson with 13 points.
Boys’ Latin 69, Glenelg Country 55: For Glenelg Country (15-6, 10-3 IAAM A Conference), Pat Curtin scored a team-high 18 points, while Jalen Baker scored 17 in Thursday’s loss.
John Carroll 70, Gilman 49: The host Patriots beat the Greyhounds, John Carroll was led by Parris Lee (18 points), Caden Chinnia-Falline (17 points) and Aidan Able (16 points).
Mount Carmel 68, Loyola Blakefield 65: Jesse Legree scored a game-high 30 points, but the visiting Dons (14-10, 8-9 MIAA A Conference Red Division) fell to the Cougars (25-4, 11-2). Mount Carmel was led by Tristen Wilson (16 points), Gage Howard (10 points) and Samartine Hill (9 points).
