The 34th annual Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Basketball Classic, presented by M.G.B. Refuse — a Gunther Company, will be held March 19 at Severna Park with the girls game beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the boys contest to follow at approximately 7:30.
The 2025 edition of the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Classic will feature 52 of the top senior basketball players in Anne Arundel County with the boys and girls games being played in North-South format. The games will be broadcast at nfhsnetwork.com by longtime local announcer Wiley Baker.
This year’s Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Basketball Classic will be dedicated to the memory of Pete Medhurst, the “Voice of Navy Athletics.” The 1987 Southern graduate died Jan. 20 at the age of 55.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Medhurst family, which incurred significant medical bills during Pete’s three-month battle with brain cancer. Cost to attend the basketball doubleheader is $5.
