Girls basketball
Mount Hebron 38, Century 32: The host Vikings beat the Knights (8-11). Kristian Jordan, Iva Damyanova and Pearl Prasartkarnka each scored six points for Mt. Hebron. Century was led by Raegan Edwards (14 points), Alaina Zeigler (6 points), and Rylee Lownsbury (5 points).
Winters Mill 54, Wilde Lake 18: The host Falcons beat the Wildecats. For Wilde Lake, Deja Williams had nine points.
Glenelg 51, Atholton 35: Reese Holden led the way with 17 points for the Gladiators. Emmy Dello Russo chipped in 15, while Jordan Henggeler added 10. For Atholton, Kendi Caldwell had 13 points.
Boys basketball
Westminster 56, Tuscarora 55: Jah Donald was a force inside Thursday night. Though he only scored five points, he hit the winning free throw to break a tie and give the Owls the win. He grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked five shots on the night. Will Mollman added nine points and 11 rebounds. Micah Ozgar led the team with 12 points. Shae Greenwood chipped in 10.
Liberty 50, Brunswick 39: Alex Thompson led the win with 16 points. Cole Jernigan backed him with 12.
Patterson Mill 75, Aberdeen 35: Drew Pape eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career early in the Huskies’ win. Pape finished with 16 points. James Hammond had a game high 21 points, 19 coming in the first half. Colin Luddy also scored 16 in the win.
