Boys basketball
Lake Clifton 47 Joppatowne 40: Deon McPherson scored 15 points to lead the host Lakers over the Mariners in a Class 1A regional semifinal. Kishann Smith had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Joppatowne. Lake Clifton led 20-18 in the first half.
Loch Raven 71, Pikesville 27: The host Raiders beat the Panthers in Class 1A. Loch Raven will face the winner of Western Tech/SEED in the regional finals on Tuesday.
Patterson Mill 61, Havre de Grace 60: The Huskies opened up a 17-6 lead after one quarter, but the Warriors slowly cut into the lead, eventually forcing overtime. But the Huskies prevailed in the extra session to advance to the regional final. James Kropp led the win with 21 points. Drew Pape and Kai Gibson each scored 11 points.
Broadneck 70, Leonardtown 60: The Bruins took control of the game with a 23-10 third quarter. Jordan Brown poured in 35 points to lead the win. Shawn Lewis backed him with 11 points and Kamari Williams chipped in seven. Broadneck plays at Bowie on Tuesday for the 4A East Region II championship.
Meade 63, Crofton 54: Tied at 30 at the half, the Mustangs surged ahead with a 15-8 third-quarter run. Keon Scott knocked down six 3-pointers and finished with 30 points. He also handed out five assists, while Lucaya Baldridge backed him with 14 points and seven rebounds.
