Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Volleyball

C. Milton Wright 3, Aberdeen 0: Ana Mioduski, Maddie Duffalo and Olivia Kobb each had six kills in the Mustangs’ 25-19, 25-21, 25-13 win. Grace Boseck and Lena Rockill added five kills each. Jenna Ritz tossed up 15 assists and Addison Bradley led the defense with nine digs.

Patterson Mill 3, Perryville 0: The Huskies swept the Panthers, each set finishing 25-13. Sophia Lopano led with 14 kills to go with three aces and nine digs. Samiyah Hubbard backed her with 10 kills. Zoe Valan totaled 36 assists and six aces, while Angela Kim led the defense with 35 digs to go with four aces.

Bel Air 3, Bohemia Manor 0: The Bobcats move to 11-0 with their 10th sweep, beating the Eagles 25-21, 25-23, 25-8. Annalise Lewis led with 10 kills. Anna Kane and Aubrie Faulkner each had six and Julie Stillwagon added five. Lilia Dziedzic served five aces and Olivia Mannion had three. Emma Duvall had 32 assists.

Century 3, Francis Scott Key 0: The Knights topped the Eagles, 25-14, 25-16, 25-21. Hannah Heffernan led the win with nine kills, Gabby Zajaczkowski had seven and Abbi Yadlapalli added six. Stephanie Villanueva served six aces and Corinne Zepp had four. Zepp also led the defense with 14 digs.

Girls soccer

C. Milton Wright 1, Rising Sun 0: Ava Lewis converted a penalty kick in the second half for the game’s only goal. Alix Bramble had eight saves for the Mustangs.

Fallston 2, Harford Tech 1: Sarah Farally scored the second-half game-winner on a penalty kick to lift the host Cougars over the Cobras. In the first half, Alayna Williams gave Fallston a 1-0 lead before Harford Tech’s Caroline Korczak tied the score assisted by Laney Weaver.

Patterson Mill 2, Bel Air 1: The Huskies got goals from Kendall Brown and Maddie Ruby to beat the Bobcats. Eliza Baldwin had an assist. In goal, Ella Shriner made two saves. For Bel Air, Addy Bullinger scored off an Ally Mace assist. Emily Schiller made eight saves.

Atholton 5, Hammond 0: Denive Guy-Williams scored two goals and assisted on another as the Raiders topped the Golden Bears. Miley Barrett backed her with a goal and two assists. Kaila Irahim and Josie Mitchell also scored.

Century 1, Liberty 0: The Knights clinched the Carroll County title with the shutout victory. The only goal came in the first half when Bella Coccio was able to put a shot in the back of the net. In the second half, Century’s defensive unit and midfield core were able to support Megan Taltavull’s fifth county shutout.

South Carroll 5, Francis Scott Key 0: Ella Boyce and Mia Talley each had a goal and an assist in the Cavaliers’ win. Marisa Ossinger and Abby James also hit the back of the net and Peyton Davis sent out two assists. In goal, Gabby Evans made five saves.

Towson girls soccer blanks Eastern Tech, 2-0, now 7-0 in Baltimore County play

Boys soccer

C. Milton Wright  2, Manchester Valley 1, OT: The visiting Mustangs beat the Mavericks. Henry Buyse and Brody Walton each scored and Liam Bender and Lucas Barker each had an assist for C.M. Wright.

Bel Air 6, Aberdeen 0: Galen Klisiewecz had two goals and two assists to lead the Bobcats over the Eagles.

Francis Scott Key 1, South Carroll 0: Beau O’Donnell scored the game-winner on an assist from Paul Adcock to lift the host Eagles over the Cavaliers. Nathan Myers made six saves for FSK.

Broadneck 4, North County 2: Wilson Banwell had a goal and an assist to lead the Bruins over the Knights. Broadneck led 1-0 in the first half.

South River 4, Chesapeake 1: The Seahawks (9-3-1) rallied from a 1-0 deficit with four goals scored in the latter half by Kamil Niwa, Adam Londot (2) and Jeffrey Serrano to give the Cougars their first loss. South River advances to face Broadneck in the AACPS Showcase semifinal.

Field hockey

Perry Hall 2, Sparrows Point 1: The Gators picked up the win in their senior day game. Delaney Evans and Makayla Kurcoba each hit the cage in the win. Brooks Day provided an assist.

Broadneck 10, Arundel 0: Nine Bruins scored in their AAPCS Showcase second-round game. Vera Shaklee scored two goals, while Raleigh Kerst and Katelyn Kerns each had a goal and an assist. Faith Everett, Caroline Miller, Cate Imber, Alyssa Lewis, Abbie Morris and Clare Imber all scored goals.

Crofton 8, Southern 0: Ryleigh Osborne made five saves and the Cardinals shut out the Bulldogs. Crofton was led by Olivia Feeley (2 goals, 2 assists), Charlotte DeForest (2 goals, 1 assist), Sophia Galarza (2 goals) and Willow Seibold (2 assists).

Glen Burnie 2, Severn Run 1: Melany Tello had a goal and an assist in the Gophers’ win. Leona Jones also scored and Sydney Green made 15 saves in goal.

Severna Park 6, Annapolis 1: Kiera Abere scored twice to lead the Falcons over the Panthers. Severna Park outscored Annapolis, 4-0, in the second half.

South River 1, Chesapeake 0: Caitlyn Zabko made nine saves in goal in the loss.

South Carroll 1, Francis Scott Key 0, SO: The game went scoreless through regulation and two overtimes, but in a shootout, the Cavaliers finally prevailed. Rowan Miller and Afton Miller scored in the shootout. Caelin Lopes made 11 saves for the Cavaliers. Maddy Dehoff recorded 12 saves for FSK.

Golf

Manchester Valley 155, Urbana 160, Liberty 179, Thomas Johnson 194: Matt Slivosky’s even-par 36 topped the field at the meet at Oakmont. Gavin Reid shot 39, while Adam Slivosky, Michael Hoy and Jackson Streett all shot 40. Nate Martin led Liberty with a 42.

Patterson Mill 241, Elkton 275, Aberdeen 281: Charlie Topping and Nate Haywood each shot 46 to lead the Huskies to the tri-meet win. Anthony Bauer added a 48, Braden Brown shot a 49 and Scott Campbell added a 52.

C. Milton Wright 190, Fallston 209: Jack Geyer shot a 30 to lead the Mustangs to the win over the Cougars. For Fallston, John Morton shot a 38 and Cam Konkle shot a 39.
